New Year’s Resolutions & Getting Fit
So, this year is hopefully the big year. You know, that one where you finally get into your fitness resolutions and actually commit to them.
Hubby and I have been working out a little bit every day for the past couple of weeks. Nothing much, just forming new habits. That’s what the new year is all about right? Making changes.
We’ll also be buying new bicycles for the whole family this Spring, once the snow clears. Mija is really looking forward to that. She already has her bike all picked out. ;)
It’s still more on the end of freezing over here in South Dakota, but we are able to get out for short walks in her Britax B-Ready Stroller and explore the snow-covered neighborhood and parks. Even in the bitter cold, it’s great to get outdoors and have a look around. Mi’jita loves bringing her little friends too, which is nice, because they keep her company while daddy and mommy chat.
We’re on a mission to get fit this year…and we have a couple of reasons why, but overall…there is just so much that we want to do this year that we haven’t done yet.
I would love to travel more, we’re hoping to move in a few months and many more life changes are coming.
And being a WAHM with a full-time business doesn’t make it any easier. I mean, how exactly do you put yourself first when you have so much on your plate? That’s what I’m bound and determined to discover this year. And the same goes for my family. We all want more quality time doing the things we love. We all need to devote more of ourselves to self-care.
