Over the past month or so, most of our time has been spent prepping for our new baby, who is on the way and will be here mid to late-September. Mija has had so much fun helping us to get ready. She’s been waiting on her little sibling forever. She started asking for a brother when she was just two years old. She’s six now. So you can imagine, this is a pretty big deal for her.
This past week, we set up most of baby Tonio’s room, which he’s be sharing with mija. We setup the new crib and went through some of mija’s old baby clothes and toys to pick out our favorites. She also helped to set up the baby’s bassinet (photo above).
So focused, right? She takes her big sister duties seriously. ;)
We’ll be setting up the rest of the room this week and then next week I’ll start packing the diaper bag with some of the items I mentioned here: Hospital checklist for new moms and dads
