Japanese Vending Machines
I’ve talked before here on the blog about my mom living in Japan for a year when she was in her 20s. She brought some of the culture home with her and instilled it in us, her kids. Ever since I was little, I’ve been fascinated with Japanese culture and have always wanted to visit. Someday, I hope to…but for now, I find myself binge watching YouTube videos.
Over the past few years, one of the things that’s really interested me is Japanese vending machines. There are whole channels dedicated to reviewing food selections from Japanese vending machines.
One of my favorites is TabiEats. Check out some of their reviews below.
Is Japanese Food Healthier?
Another things that fascinates me about Japanese culture is just how healthy most of the convenience foods seem to be when compared to American fast food.
I love the variety they offer. You can even buy ready-to-eat meals and hot food. There’s everything from burgers, to rice and noodle bowls, to snacks and hot tea or soups. Check out this video on some of the convenience foods that are available around Japan.
