Ricardo & I Test Out Our Podcasting Chops

So, my husband, Ricardo, has always wanted to do a radio show and we figured that we would feel things out, see how it goes and test our chops to see if we have what it takes to podcast.  This is our first practice session, which we recorded last week and there will likely be several more to come.  In the future, we’d love to create a live podcast to discuss interracial relationships, mixed life, and more specifically, the Latino elements behind the race discussion.  We get more comfortable and focused with it as we go along and I think I understand the process more since being on Michelle’s show. Let us know what you think of the conversation and also, please excuse the interruption at the end…or lovely daughter is a little ham, just like her daddy.  ;)

This is great!  It's so cool to put a voice with the person.  I think the pod casts will be a great addition!

Thank you Tara!  This was really fun for us…and I have to say, it actually felt a lot like a date night.  Sometimes in marriage, you get so busy with the kiddies that you don't always make time for adult conversation, so it was great to just chat with my hubby…plus at the end, he shared some new things that he hadn't shared before…like the fact that all his friends lacked fathers.  We'd never really talked about that before, but it was so touching to hear his take on fatherhood from the child's perspective and the relationships between men.  Really interesting stuff.  We'll definitely have to talk more on this topic too.  I'm so glad you enjoyed the podcast!  :)
